The Winery:
The winery is located in the small rural community of Lewiston about half way between Trinity Center and Redding off Trinity Dam Road. This is a beautiful winding drive through the local coastal hills to the southern most end of Trinity Lake. The winery is one of the few that offers tasting at the winery daily.
We still advise you to call first due to the length of the drive.

The Vineyards:
The 12-acre estate vineyard is planted to Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Tempranillo. The cool air off the lake allows the estate to grow grapes like Pinot Noir that don't do as well in the warmer, surrounding region.

The Wines:
The Bells produce a wide range of wines, representing warmer and cooler region grapes; a testament to the diversity of this growing region.. |
The Winemaker:
The winery owners, Ernie and Kristel Bell, took classes at UC Davis in enology and works with consultant Keith Groves of Alpen Cellars to produce their wines.
